Romance of Turkey Turkish offices are based in
Alanya which is approximately 75 miles east of
Antalya Airport and is reached by a modern dual
carriageway , nearly always empty.
The motorway passes through typical Turkish
Mediterranean farming countryside, with the
spectacular Taurus mountains backdrop.
For more than three quarters of the journey, the
motorway travels alongside the sparkling clear sea –
still with the fabulous pine clad mountain scenery.
The journey passes such historical towns as Side and
Manavgat, and takes a little over an hour.
After Palma Airport, Antalya Airport is the second
busiest airport on the Mediterranean coast and,
unlike the Turkish Aegean coast, Antalya is served
by direct flights from the UK twelve months of the
year, both chartered and scheduled.
The flight takes about 4 hours. In addition there is
a choice of several daily schedule flights with
Turkish Airlines from Heathrow and Manchester via
Istanbul
